Prayer

Oh God, with all our hearts we long to be; people transformed by Christ,
transforming Drayton Valley, our nation and world!
By your grace and for your glory…
Renew and empower us through a fresh encounter with yourself
Release us to be strategic in service, kingdom-connected in practice, passionate in pursuit of your mission and mercy.
Use us to fulfill your purpose for Canada and the World!

People meet at various times to pray.  During a worship service we encourage people to freely join the people at the prayer station towards the back of the auditorium to pray for one another, the service or community needs.   There may be times of prayer at the end of a service when people are encouraged to come for prayer or to pray for others.

Prayer for Healing
We believe in divine healing. Join others at the prayer station on Sundays or call the leadership team or others to pray for God’s healing work in your body.   We follow the instructions in James 5.  “13Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 14Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”

We encourage families to pray together for the people in Drayton Valley, the church ministries and International workers.

The Sunday information package will list options for prayer times along with a prayer corner with some suggestions for prayer.

Tuesdays 6:00am our Disciple Makers Group meets at our church office (our current office located in the upper floor at 4901-55 Street) followed by an opportunity to go for breakfast.

Our prayer meetings are 7:14pm on the second last Monday of the month.
