Plan to Protect

Safety for Kids

All staff involved in children and youth ministries are required to complete the Plan To Protect course which was developed by a national committee of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

This training involves the policies and procedures designed to protect children, youth and staff. As examples; the ratio of staff to children relevant to each age grouping, procedures for infant care, procedures for off-campus travel.  It also requires all staff to complete applications with references, criminal record searches and a child welfare review.

We have many kids on a Sunday morning and put these procedures in place to everyone’s safety.
